"We recently began our cruisetour at the Wedgewood Resort & were very satisfied. We stayed in the spacious, comfortable, extremely clean & appearing to be very recently renovated. We made use of the kitchen-equipped for basic cooking. The shuttle runs in a loop, so it's not a direct ride to the grocery store, but it gave us a chance to see some of the area & it was nice to eat before touring the next day without having to go out. The grounds are large & we enjoyed walking, but we were told to call if we needed transportation on the grounds & they would send a golf cart. Don't miss the car museum - it's really well done! The drapes in the bedrooms did their job-we slept well on the longest day of the year. In all, a good start to our trip." - July 2010
"We made reservations at the Bear Lodge for 6/17/10 and to our surprise on arrival we were put in the Wedgewood Resort instead at no extra fee. It was so beautiful and relaxing we stayed a 2nd night in Fairbanks. We did't need to go anywhere because the resort had a lot of things to see and do. The grounds were beautiful, the Gazebo's were awesome, the Car museum was fabulous, the food and service was 10+, the rooms were immaculate and the trails were awesome even though we were bombarded by mosquitos. The staff at the Resort and Lodge, including Judy in the reservation center were always friendly and going above the call of duty. The nice lady in the gift shop accommodated my needs, as well. The 9 days we were on our cruise...the best part of our vacation was staying at your wonderful property, so thank you for making our vacation turn out so nice on our last 2 days. If we ever go back to Fairbanks we will stay with you again and we have already told several of our friends to stay at your property Wedgewood Resort and Bear Lodge." - June 2010 - Redding, CA

The full kitchen was a welcome change from constantly eating out. After a quick trip to a local grocery store, we were eventually able to enjoy relaxing meals at our leisure. The appliances were contemporary and full size (not the mini-apartment versions) making preparation much easier.

To the kind lady 'Desk Manager' - Last June 2009 we stayed one night at the hotel and we caused you a lot of trouble about an item we forgot in Denali National Park. You were so kind to make a lot of phone calls to the park and the result is ... we received our item this morning!! We are very pleased and we are sending you 'tonsof thanks'!
